The table below covers 75 competitions held between Oct 98 and Sept 00 which involved a total of total of 2,438 players (or teams in the case of doubles) with known armies (and 45 unknown). These competitions involved roughly 230 different armies. Again my main source of information was the World Wide Web, and the competitions were generally held in either the UK or Australia (if anyone knows a good web page for US competition results, I would like to know). A third (need to check this?) of the results were from limited period competitions (i.e. those where a restricted set of lists is used). If the competitions only has very broad restrictions (e.g. 2 or more army books) then I count it as unrestricted. None of the results used DBM 3.0 (or any of the DBM 2.2 drafts).
The probability of success figure represents how far up the rankings the army came in the competition results. In other words, the army coming first in a competition gets 100%, the army that came last gets 0% and the rest are spread evenly between.
