25mm Aztecs

My 25mm Aztecs include:
- Naismith - the best figures
available (in my humble opinion). They are crisp, well
modelled figures. There is an extensive range and they
paint up well. The only problem is the lack of a suitable
back banner for the Quachic.
- Tin Soldier - my second major
source of figures. They are more caricatures, and some
are too flat for my tastes. However, they provide extra
variations.
- Ral Partha - these are thinner
and slightly smaller, but crisp and well modelled
figures. I've mixed some in with my Clan Warriors and
skirmishers, but tend to feel the suitwearers are too
slightly built to fit well with the chuckier Naismith and
Tin Soldier figures.
- Frontier - these would fit with
the Ral Partha figures (for slimness & height), but
are rougher. I've decided not to use any of these.
- Falcon - they produce a single
25mm Quachic figure (as I asked them to); he is bigger
than the Naismith and Tin Soldier figures, and has the
correct back banner (but lacks a loin cloth). I've mixed
these with my Naismith Quachic to give variety.
I plan to add more information on figure codes and painting
sometime. Otherwise Email me if
you want more information.
